The internet is a collection of computers all linked together and all containing websites (or web pages) that are accessible via web browsers such as Internet Explorer and Mozilla Firefox.

Web pages are just ways of displaying the content that is on these computers, and things like search engines are websites that send out little script based “bots” that scour these computers or ‘servers’ following links on the websites it knows about, to new websites that it’s never seen before, and so on and so forth.

If you have a website that is out of reach, or isn’t coded in a way that can be properly understood and displayed in web browsers – you are going to have a problem being found on the internet – which means you might as well not be there.
